Primary Log House Felling dates: Winter 1790/1, Summer 1790, Winter 1788/9
Site Master 1661-1790 (yellow pine) ESWVx1 (t = 6.02 rgo2; 6.00 JOMDx1; 5.66 FYMDx1).
The Log House at the Fort Edwards Site is a two-story log structure, which originally had a frame section that is now removed.
Dendrochronological analysis has shown that the building was constructed from timbers felled in the winter of 1788/9, the summer of 1790, and the winter of 1790/1.
