HOLLAND TOWNSHIP BARN SURVEY No. 28 – John Lippincott Cooley/ Anderson family/ Charles Albert Shire Barn Standard Pennsylvania forebay with a Germanic frame retrofitted with a swing beam. Hewn oak major components include purlin posts and purlins, hewn oak nailers, and sawn oak braces. Dendrochronological analysis has shown that the building was constructed from timbers felled in the summer of 1835, winter of 1836/7, spring of 1838, and the summer of 1838.
