Site Master 1679-1824 (white oak) DHVAx1 (t = 10.86 RBLVAx1; 10.55 MDZ7; 10.43 DC-AREA2).
Dendrochronological analysis has shown that the workshop at Shafer Farmstead was constructed from timbers felled in the winter of 1901/2 and the summer of 1902. Unfortunately, the samples taken from the main house did not match existing area master chronologies and therefore must remain undated at this time.
Dendrochronological analysis has shown that the remnants of the primary construction phase found within the building were constructed from oak timbers felled in the winter of 1824/5.
