The Hext House is a T-shaped frame house located in the Point neighborhood in Beaufort, South Carolina. It faces south toward Hancock Street, with the river to its north giving it the alternate name of Riverview. The original house consists of a two-story front block set on a high foundation made of tabby and brick, with a central stair tower and flanking rooms to the north and upper and lower piazzas or front porches to the south.

Dendrochronological analysis has shown that the building was constructed from timbers felled in the winter of 1799/1800, suggesting that it was built at that time or shortly thereafter.
