Sycamore Tavern is a one-and-a-half-story, hall-and-parlor Piedmont Virginia house that served as a tavern and stagecoach stop on the road between Richmond and Charlottesville for most of the 19th century.

Dendrochronological analysis has shown that the house was constructed from timbers felled in the winter of 1798/9, suggesting that it was built at this time or shortly thereafter.
